westernaustralia.jobs is evolving

August 18, 2026

westernaustralia.jobs is evolving from a jobs website into a broader careers and workforce resource for Western Australia’s tourism and hospitality industry.

Since launching, the site has helped connect thousands of jobseekers with vacancies and employers with potential staff. As workforce needs continue to change, we’re shifting the focus of westernaustralia.jobs to do more than simply list jobs.

The site will continue to connect people with current tourism and hospitality vacancies, while providing information and resources to help people discover careers, training and pathways across the industry.

From around 7 September 2026, the jobs search section of westernaustralia.jobs will be powered by eeger, a dedicated tourism and hospitality jobs platform. Its jobs search function will be integrated into westernaustralia.jobs, providing continued access to current tourism and hospitality vacancies in one place.

What does this mean for jobseekers?

If you’re looking for work in tourism or hospitality, you’ll still be able to use westernaustralia.jobs to find current vacancies, explore career pathways, discover training opportunities and access industry resources.

There’s nothing you need to do.

From September, you’ll no longer need to register to search for jobs. If you’ve already registered, you’ll continue to receive our monthly careers email. New visitors can subscribe via our new sign-up page when it goes live.

Whether you’re looking for your first job, considering a career change or ready for your next step, westernaustralia.jobs will continue to help you explore where a career in tourism and hospitality can take you.

What does this mean for employers?

The main change for employers is that vacancies will no longer be posted directly through westernaustralia.jobs.

If you want your vacancies to appear in the jobs search on westernaustralia.jobs, you’ll need to advertise those roles through eeger. You can out more about eeger for employers here.

westernaustralia.jobs will continue to provide content and resources for employers, but will broaden its scope to include educators, career advisers and other industry stakeholders.

The site will increasingly focus on workforce development, career attraction, training opportunities and helping people understand the range of roles available across tourism and hospitality.
